Taylor Swift cannot sing

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUMMY BEAR!

I see Daddy's sexy cleavage!!

--------------------------------------------------------

An oddly heartwarming event happened today.

I was sitting behind the rack of Readers' Digest in the library,
sourcing for an article worthy of my GP mini-essay.

Leigh headed off to the book shop to photocopy hers.

Just when she was 2m away,
I heard some words being muttered in Mandarin.

Looking up, I spotted signature dark grey pants with yellow blouse.
And how could I have forgotten... those platform boots.

Uh oh.

The conversation got louder and soon drew the attention of people in the library,
but the people involved in it seemed oblivious to the commotion they have caused.

I instinctively hid my face behind a copy of RD,
and told myself to ignore the repeated
"朱婉婷在哪里?"

I have no idea what Leigh said because she was really soft and low.
Then came a booming

"朱婉婷!!!!!!!"

-.-
Damnit,
I knew I should have hidden behind The Economist instead -.-

The following conversation happened in Mandarin,
but for convenience sake Imma type it out in English.

Her: Where's your HSK result slip?

Me: Errrrrrr

Her: You see, can't even do anything right!
What socks are you wearing today?

Me: Errr, white socks

Her: Green yesterday and white today?!
Why must you always defy the school rules?
Skirt's too short and socks are wrong...
Take off your socks and throw them away now

Me: Okay okay (but did not do so)

Her: I've checked the HSK scores,
both you and Leigh passed.
I was telling Mdm Lxx Wxx and Mdm Gxx Lxx Hxx that both of you passed because they kept condemning you two.
How could you have not passed?
BTW I suggest you take the HSK exam in April again.
This is a new format so it's easier.

Me: Huhhhh but other than speaking to you now I haven't used Mandarin at all.
Besides I haven't even written my name since the O levels HCL paper.

.
.
.

Her: You must be more obedient okay?
The new principal doesn't have a good temper so you'll have to behave yourself okay?

WHOA.
Major right.

I immediately felt sooooo touched that she stood up for us in front of my previous 2 Chinese teachers!
Plus she'ld usually scold me for a longer time!

AND SO,
Imma wear RV socks to school tomorrow!

LET THERE BE SPOT-CHECK, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE!
